Stop Repeating History Stands with #BlackLivesMatter

To our Black brothers and sisters, the AAPI community stands in solidarity and marches with you for racial justice.

Reject the shameful legacy of Japanese American incarceration and future attacks to our civil liberties.

The Stop Repeating History campaign educates the public on the dangers of unchecked presidential power. The campaign was born when #StopRepeatingHistory speakers used their collective expertise to draw parallels between the incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II and the Trump administration’s policies targeting minority groups based on race or religion.

Today, the team continues its work to educate individuals across the country on hate against communities of color, and why we must stand together to fight racism and xenophobia.

Our Speakers

Our team bring years of experience in advocacy. From the coram nobis team that vacated Fred Korematsu’s conviction in Korematsu v. United States to executive directors of civil liberties non-profit organizations to artists and filmmakers who retell the horrific history of Japanese American incarceration. We’re driven and passionate about organizing and educating to protect the rights of all people in the U.S.

Since our founding, we’ve been published in major outlets, and have had thousands of people attend our events and online webinars.

We Need Your Help!

Though our screenings and speakers we are working to educate the public on the importance of the rule of law and the importance of our courts to serve as a check on presidential powers. We need your help! Whether you’re most comfortable contributing time to take part in our Call to Action or energy to help organize an event in your community, we need you on our team.
