On the Radio: ‘Connecting the dots between the travel ban and Japanese American incarceration’

KALW’s Rose Aguilar spoke with Abby Ginzberg and Don Tamaki on March 13, 2019, about how the laws and policies that enabled the incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II are resurfacing today.

Abby is the filmmaker of “And Then They Came for Us,” in which people who were incarcerated tell their stories and speak out against the Muslim travel ban. Don served on the legal team that helped overturn Fred Korematsu’s criminal convictions for refusing to be incarcerated.
