Clarendon Alternative Elementary Play of the Legal Struggles of Fred Korematsu in Celebration of Fred Korematsu Day

Today, Ms. Tanaka and her 4th grade students did an amazing job putting on a play that portrayed the life and the legal struggles of Fred Korematsu who had disobeyed the government orders to turn himself in for incarceration during World War II.   The performance was part of the Clarendon Fred Korematsu Assembly, a whole-school event that celebrated the Fred Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties and the Constitution (January 30)
